Introduction
Hi, I’m Daniel — a Creative Director based in Boston.
This portfolio spans a decade of creative leadership across Southeast Asia and globally — from launching a country’s first 4G network and scaling a fintech platform to 10 million users, to building brand systems for startups, development partners, and global campaigns under Ogilvy.

It’s a presentation of the work, the thinking, and the point of view behind both. Creative direction, for me, has always been about finding the idea that makes a brand feel inevitable — then building the systems to deliver it at scale.

I’m currently based in Boston and open to Creative Director, VP Brand, and senior creative leadership roles.

About
Leadership built in the field.
Every skill I’ve developed found its edge in complexity. Building brands in emerging markets forced clarity under pressure. Leading production teams across languages and cultures built something no studio teaches: the ability to make a group of people with different instincts move as one.
I’ve led 12-person creative teams, directed national campaigns across TV, OOH, social and retail, and built brand systems that had to hold across 50+ locations from day one.

From print magazines to mobile apps, from development bank reports to fintech brand systems scaling to millions of users — each context stretched a different muscle: strategy, storytelling, execution, leadership.
I started in commercial photography — shooting for Coca-Cola, Minute Maid, and other global brands through Ogilvy. Moved into in-house creative leadership across Southeast Asia. Built a consultancy that has helped clients secure over $10M in funding. The range is the point.
Now I’m bringing that to Boston.

I led brand, campaign, and product creative for KBZPay through its most critical growth phase — national TVCs, daily social, influencer campaigns, a full bank rebrand, and the launch of KBZ Private.
During COVID-19, I directed a full brand audit and redesign of KBZ Bank's identity, digital platforms, and branch experience across the country.

Creative Director  |  2018
Launched Myanmar's first data-only 4G+ network, introducing a new consumer telecom brand to the ASEAN market through lifestyle-driven design and high-visibility campaigns.
Directed launch strategy and creative across TV, OOH, social, and retail in partnership with Y&R — delivering national rollout and executing the “livemore” campaign across 50+ locations.

A pre-MVP fintech startup building a new payment network that performs full KYC at the point of sale while cryptographically separating identity from purchase data.
I directed the full brand system from positioning through execution: visual identity, typographic language, the fingerprint motif, product UI direction across the onboarding flow, and the investor narrative.
